Current Flow Cytometry Recharge Rates:
Below is a table of our flow cytometry hourly rates. Note that there is a minimum charge for
each machine and usage is billed in "time slices" of 15 minutes or 1 hour. For some applications
(e.g. dual laser, single cell deposition, time zero module) or
if we have to do extra machine sterilization post sort (e.g. your cells were contaminated)
we add an extra setup charge.
If your cells are very sticky and clog multiple sample filters we charge $50 each for those also.
The Facstar+ may only be run by CCMI facility staff. Don't even think about running it yourself!
Users may operate the Facscan and LSR themselves after training; those that still require
substantial assistance after the first three sessions are subject to Facstar+ rates.
Self sign calendars are available for Facscan and LSR.
Users are reminded that if they do not turn up for an appointment, they will still incur a charge for the time signed up.
The last user of the day is responsible for turning off the power to the machine (check the calendar
for who is signed up); we assess a standard charge of $300.00 for a machine left on overnight.
