tubes filled with a gas of your choice (Argon, unless you are brave!)

Little lasers
I am told that Phoenix Flow Systems
here in San Diego are able to take care of the small Cyonics lasers used in
the Facscan and others. I have not yet had to have anything done to
mine, so I pass this information on as is!
